McLeod Cranes Limited is commited to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its key activities on the environment.

The key points in our strategy to achieve this are:

  • Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring thay are as efficient as possible.
  • Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its fuel and maintenance requirements.
  • Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
  • Promote environmental responsibility among our employees and encouraging their input.
  • Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to our company.

This policy is reviewed annually and employees are made aware of any changes.

Environmental Examples

McLeod Cranes Limited runs an electronic system to create a paperless office. All crane jobs are dispatch via vWork with associated photos and forms. All daily, weekly and monthly checks are also completed electronically along with permits, rating charts and crane inspections. This has reduced the paper requirement in our workplace by over 90%.

McLeod Cranes Limited recycles all waste oils, paper, plastics and glass.
