Harbour Links Last Beam

Well its been a busy week with Fletcher Construction placing the last beam on The NZ Transport Agency Harbour Link Project. Peter McLeod our structural engineer has had his hands full working closely with engineer Gareth Hole from Fletchers planning a very technically complex lift. Maximus (GMK5170) operated by Brian Short and Lofty (GMK5130) operated by Justin Martin with very short outriggers to place a 70 Tonne Steel Beam with the help of Roy Ogle dogging it gently into place.
