Superboat - Light Class

Today we had the chance to lower Addictive (Grant Smith) and Rayglass (Kelly Smith) into the water for the Superboat light class. It was great to have the opportunity to to see these boats up close before racing. I have to say the name Addictive really suits the boat. The sport looks a tonne of fun! The Mall - Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui

Pictured above another interesting job for the 80 lifting panels into place. The panel in this picture is on the right hand side. Below from the street you can see the crane reaching across to place the panels. In the back ground is Mauao and on the left in the harbour you just catch a glimpse the Cruise ship Saphire Princess entering the harbour.
