Tauranga Hospital - 130 with Fly

Packing up after a long reach. Here the team is seen packing up the fly after the 130 Tonne Crane ('Lofty') was hired to reach over the hospital to place steel pipe work. Lofty was setup with an 18 metre fly allowing the crane to reach up the 25 metre high hospital and then out 52 metres. It was great job completed safely by our highly skilled operators - Ron, Ray and Roy (Pictured here packing up).

From the crane here you can see the 32 metre reach with the 8 tonne panel just been placed on site. In using the 130 the client was able to have the crane remain in one position through out the job placing each panel straight from the trucks one after another as they arrived with no delays. Posted by Picasa
